About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Float Pool team at Avera McKennan Hospital. As a Registered Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and challenging environment, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in a variety of settings, including intensive care, cardiopulmonary, oncology/transplant, and surgical/trauma units.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Participate in education and training programs to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to improve patient care and safety.

  • A competitive hourly rate of $46.50, with shift differential available for hours worked between 7p and 7a, weekends, and weekend nights.

Requirements
  • Graduate from a CCNE or NLN accredited nursing program.
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of South Dakota and/or meeting the requirements of multi-state licensure.
  • Certification in specialty preferred.
  • Strongly encouraged to complete life-saving education specific to specialty area.
