We are seeking a highly experienced Program Management Director to join our team at A Prentice Ray & Associates LLC. With an estimated salary range of $130,000 - $160,000 per year, this is an excellent opportunity to utilize your skills and expertise in program management.

About the Position

In this role, you will provide authoritative advice and guidance to our director and other officials on program formulation, budgeting, planning, development, execution, and evaluation. Your expertise will be essential in developing and updating our mission statement, goals, and objectives, as well as supporting organizational design and position descriptions.

You will also be responsible for assisting in developing and updating our management processes and controls, coordinating office-wide and unit-specific operating policies and procedures, and negotiating and drafting Memoranda of Agreement.

Additionally, you will play a key role in coordinating our office-wide budget planning process, preparing annual Congressional Budget Justifications, and identifying and resolving complex program management issues.

You will also brief officials on plans, management, operations, budget, and key issues of the program, monitor and advise on training curricula, and assist with the identification and selection of participant nations and establishment of country-specific policy and training goals.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree is required.
  • Seven years' experience as a program manager of a $10-million+ annually budgeted program is necessary.
  • Five years' experience assigned to US Diplomatic or Consular posts is essential.
  • Technical understanding of strategic, operational, and tactical level events and environments is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to work within the context of political and consular organizations at a senior organizational level is necessary.
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills are essential.
  • An understanding of organizational design, operational planning, budget, and logistical activities within the Department of State framework is required.
