Job Overview

LAUNCHTECH is seeking a skilled Program Director to oversee government contracts and programs in both public and private sectors. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in program management, government contracts, and business development. This role requires strategic planning, effective communication with customers, subcontractors, and internal teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring exceptional program performance, identifying new opportunities, and contributing to LAUNCHTECH's growth.

The salary range for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. Compensation also includes comprehensive benefits, such as medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.

About the Role

This Program Director will oversee day-to-day operations of awarded programs and contracts, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and performance objectives. They will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, CORs, contracting officers, subcontractors, project managers, and employees to ensure high-quality service delivery. Key responsibilities include developing program strategies by identifying and analyzing program requirements and needs, facilitating the execution of multiple concurrent projects, and leading program kickoff meetings to define expectations, deliverables, and timelines for new contracts. Additionally, they will monitor and create budgets, ensure compliance with all contractual obligations and government regulations, and develop reports on program status, performance metrics, and compliance for internal stakeholders and customers.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must have at least 10+ years of experience in program and project management, overseeing government contracts. Proven expertise in full lifecycle government contract management, including modifications, compliance, and execution, is essential. A Top Secret security clearance or eligibility to obtain one is required. Experience participating in solicitation responses (RFI/RFP) is highly desirable. Additionally, candidates should possess strong organizational skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to develop program strategies, mitigate risks, and execute complex projects efficiently.
