Job Title: Corporate Floater

Disability Services of the Southwest is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Corporate Floater to join our team in Dallas, TX.

Job Summary:

The Corporate Floater will be responsible for providing training and support to staff members in various offices, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide training and development programs for staff members in various offices
  • Conduct regular supervisory visits to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and agency policies
  • Collaborate with Human Resources to ensure that staff files are completed in a timely manner and reviewed annually
  • Ensure that quality staff are hired, trained, and in-serviced as needed
  • Track unstaffed hours and document hiring efforts
  • Utilize program resources efficiently
  • Maintain positive relationships and open communication with clients, staff, and other stakeholders
  • Review and correct any outstanding issues in reference to the Quality Assurance Program
  • Conduct surveys with office staff to determine training needs and provide individual and/or group training to improve efficiency and accuracy
  • Provide de-escalation training to attendants on crisis prevention and non-restrictive interventions
  • Observe, analyze, and make recommendations for improvements to the service attendant orientation process and methods

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED; Associate, B.A., B.S., or higher degree, preferred
  • Three years' experience as a Program Director and meet the Program Director qualifications
  • Two to three years of experience in direct training
  • Experience in training and development, HMO, managed healthcare, or insurance professional
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • High proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Acrobat, Content Creator, and SharePoint preferred
  • Skilled at conducting internet research
  • Ability to type 35 wpm with 80% accuracy and 80% accuracy in Excel
  • Travel required, overnight/out of town travel will be required for office coverage, meetings, training programs, conferences, etc.

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Sitting in a normal seated position for extended periods of time
  • Reaching by extending hand(s) or arm(s) in any direction
  • Finger dexterity required to manipulate objects with fingers rather than with words, hand(s) or arm(s)
  • Communication skills using the spoken word
  • Ability to see within normal parameters
  • Ability to hear within normal range
  • Ability to move about
