Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team at the Idaho National Laboratory. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing small projects and scope for large projects, ensuring that they are completed within budget and schedule.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and administer small to medium-sized projects from conceptual stages through planning, engineering, procurement, execution, start-up, turnover, and operations.
  • Responsible for technical comprehension of engineering, procurement, and industry processes, including their interfaces and interdependencies.
  • Utilize construction, operations, R&D, and business systems to ensure project scope is accomplished, schedules are met, and work is completed within budget and schedule.
  • Establish and maintain liaison with customers throughout the project to resolve problems and coordinate service.
  • Lead assigned small projects in planning and establishing schedules, forecasts, budgets, parameters, etc., and monitor progress to ensure schedules are met and work is performed within budget and schedule.
  • Manage projects to ensure that they are completed within budget and schedule, and that all work is performed in a safe manner.
  • Ensure that technical and functional requirements are met.
  • Develop teams to complete projects.
Requirements
  • Applicable Bachelor's Degree plus 0-2 years professional experience or Advanced Degree and 0 Years professional experience.
  • Skill in applying team building concepts.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy 'Q' clearance, which requires US Citizenship.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or ability to obtain when PMI experience criteria is met.
  • Professional experience in engineering, construction, nuclear, or fabrication.
