Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at Texas Health Resources. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and contribute to the delivery of high-quality medical services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver patient care utilizing the Nursing Process, assessing, planning, intervening, and evaluating patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support.
  • Initiate action to meet patient and/or significant others' need for information, maintaining continuity of patient care.
  • Participate in educational programs and professional growth opportunities to enhance nursing practice and patient care.
Requirements
  • Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required; BSN preferred.
  • Current Registered Nurse licensure required.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required prior to providing independent patient care.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI), Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required within specified timeframes.
  • 1-year of experience as a Registered Nurse or completion of an RN residency program required.
  • 2-3 years of ER experience preferred.
