Compiles and reviews monthly financial and statistical reports, variance analysis, system benchmarking, and other calculations to support Accounting, Finance, and various stakeholders.

Prepares, communicates, and oversees operational and capital budgets.
Inputs and verifies budget spreadsheets.

Reporting responsibilities may include downloads formatted for the General Ledger, web-based budgets, extracts from capital budget reports, ad-hoc spreadsheets, payroll data, and management of operating budgets.

Acts as departmental support for monthly statistical reporting: facilitates the implementation of changes to the statistical collection process between the department and Information Systems.

Performs data entry tasks as necessary to meet departmental deadlines. Provides training and maintains documentation for data entry processes across all current financial planning systems.
Generates and reviews periodic full-time equivalent (FTE) data.
Coordinates the collection of labor-related data to initiate the annual operating budget process.
Responsible for the graphical presentation of financial and statistical information.

Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required:
None Required.

Education Required:
Bachelor's Degree in Finance or a related discipline.

Experience Required:
Typically requires 1 year of experience in finance and/or accounting.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
Proficiency in various computer/software systems including Word, Windows-based mainframe, database spreadsheets, and report generation from diverse databases. Ability to learn new applications and instruct others on their use is essential.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent interpersonal skills are necessary to assess best practices for fulfilling information requirements and to conduct informal training.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
Position may involve travel, which could expose the individual to road and weather hazards.
Work is conducted in a standard office environment.
Operates all necessary equipment to perform the job.
