Financial Analyst II

The Financial Analyst II plays a critical role in providing project and analytical support for specific business functions. This includes monitoring financial performance, analyzing variances, and understanding business drivers to ensure achievement of financial commitments.

This position will be located in our Downers Grove, IL office.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Key player in financial forecasting and budgeting for specific business function
  • Monitors and tracks operating expense trends including ROI
  • Evaluates & recommends efficiencies for business function (sales, cost, etc.)
  • Provides reporting and analysis to support the business function needs
  • Assists with monthly Business Review preparation
  • Perform analysis or support cross functional projects
  • Supports ad hoc business initiatives as needed
Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field
  • 3-5 years of accounting/finance experience; manufacturing environment preferred
  • Advanced Excel and database skills, MS Office, Essbase, Hyperion Planning, Oracle or equivalent ERP
  • Excellent organizational, problem solving, analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Highly detail oriented; ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects to meet obligations
  • Ability to work independently & take initiative while collaborating with remote business partners
  • Must be proficient in data gathering and analysis tools to create meaningful reports with ability to draw conclusions & problem solve
