Qualifications
EDUCATION
A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required. If the degree is in Finance, successful completion of Intermediate Accounting I & II is necessary.
Employees within the accounting/finance sector of the Enterprise who are actively enrolled in an accredited collegiate program pursuing a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance will be considered upon successful completion of Intermediate Accounting I & II.
EXPERIENCEPrior experience in accounting is preferred.

Key Responsibilities
Assists with financial reporting audits, collaborating with internal audits, regulatory bodies, independent auditors, and/or the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association. May assist in special projects as directed. May be required to analyze and review financial statements for completeness, accuracy, and compliance. Performs general accounting functions, including but not limited to preparation of journal entries, coding of invoices, accounting analysis, and reconciliation. Performs other duties as assigned. Prepares supporting financial data as required. Reconciles, confirms, and maintains general ledger accounts.
