As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, teaching medical students, residents, and fellows, and participating in scholarly activities.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will practice in the area of adult Infectious Diseases, with a mix of inpatient, outpatient, and telehealth services. An important component of this position is helping to support and expand our Musculoskeletal ID consult service and also follow up in outpatient combined ID/Orthopedic clinic.
Responsibilities- Provide excellent patient care in the area of adult Infectious Diseases
- Teach medical students, residents, and fellows
- Participate in scholarly activities
- Support and expand our Musculoskeletal ID consult service
- Follow up in outpatient combined ID/Orthopedic clinic
The successful candidate must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible for state medical license. They must have completed an Internal Medicine Residency Program as well as infectious diseases fellowship program. Board certification/eligibility in infectious diseases is also required.
