POSITION OVERVIEW:
A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides essential support to patients/residents with individualized health care needs under the guidance of a licensed nurse. The CNA assists individuals with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility. This role also includes facilitating the safe transfer of residents to and from various activities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Offer physical assistance to patients/residents with daily activities and personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Support patients with medication and dietary needs.
  • Reposition and turn bedridden patients to prevent discomfort.
  • Monitor and record food and liquid intake, ensuring adherence to dietary restrictions.
  • Observe and report any changes in patient conditions, including physical signs and emotional well-being.
  • Assist nursing staff with various medical tasks, including checking vital signs under supervision.
  • Respond promptly to patient calls and needs.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
