About Our Program

Our revolutionary neuro rehabilitation program is designed to provide individuals with brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, or stroke/CVA with the support and resources they need to achieve their goals and regain their independence. By removing the walls of traditional institutional settings and providing care in the home, school, community, or workplace, we promote greater health and independence throughout the recovery process.

Your Role

As an Occupational Therapist Assistant - COTA, you will play a vital role in helping our patients achieve their goals and regain their independence. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing evaluations and developing treatment plans that cater to each patient's unique needs and goals
  • Regularly re-assessing the effectiveness of treatment plans and making adjustments as needed
  • Communicating with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care and coordination
  • Providing education and support to patients and their families to promote independence and self-advocacy

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A current, unrestricted license as an Occupational Therapist Assistant - COTA in the state of California
  • Current CPR Certification
  • A minimum of one year's work experience as an Occupational Therapist Assistant - COTA
  • Demonstrated knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological diagnoses
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
