Patient Care Coordinator

Job Summary:
Bellin Health is seeking a skilled Patient Admissions Representative/Rehab Aide to join our team. In this role, you will provide exceptional patient care under the direct supervision of a Physical/Occupational Therapist, Registered Nurse or Master's-prepared Exercise Physiologist.
Key Responsibilities:
- Timely and accurately register and schedule patients while meeting payor requirements.
- Manage telephone calls and communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and staff.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements:
- High school diploma and additional post-secondary classes in medical insurance, medical terminology, and healthcare business preferred.
- Experience in hospital or clinic admitting, computer/keyboarding skills, medical terminology, health insurance processing, and excellent customer service skills preferred.
- One year of experience in direct patient care, preferably in orthopedics or cardiac, preferred.
- Wisconsin Nursing Assistant Registry listing preferred.
