Job Summary:
The Commonwealth of Virginia is seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Gastroenterologist to join our team at the Children's Hospital of Richmond. As a key member of our Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology, you will be responsible for providing exceptional clinical care to patients, teaching and mentoring students and residents, and contributing to research and academic activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clinical Care: Provide high-quality patient care, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of pediatric gastrointestinal disorders.
- Teaching and Mentoring: Participate in the education and training of students, residents, and fellows in pediatric gastroenterology.
- Research and Academic Activities: Conduct research in pediatric gastroenterology, participate in clinical trials, and contribute to the development of academic programs.
- Service and Leadership: Serve on departmental and hospital committees, participate in quality improvement initiatives, and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Board certification or eligibility in Pediatrics and Pediatric Gastroenterology.
- Experience in clinical care of pediatric GI patients, ages birth to 21.
- Experience in an academic medical center.
- Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace.
