Position Overview
This is a full-time on-site position for an Endoscopy Nurse. The Endoscopy Nurse will play a crucial role in assisting with endoscopic procedures, ensuring patient readiness for examinations, monitoring patients throughout the procedures, and delivering comprehensive post-procedure care.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in various endoscopic procedures and support the medical team.
- Prepare patients for examinations, ensuring they are comfortable and informed.
- Monitor patients during procedures to ensure their safety and well-being.
- Provide thorough post-procedure care and instructions to patients.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license is mandatory.
- Prior experience in endoscopy or gastroenterology is preferred.
- Familiarity with endoscopy equipment and procedural protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Capability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and work collaboratively with a diverse team.
- BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
