As an Account Executive, you will develop and enhance off-premise client relationships within the designated territory to optimize the sales of our diverse portfolio of supplier brands. Compensation Overview
Competitive salary of $41,000 plus commission and incentives Sign-on bonus of $1,500 Mileage reimbursement at 65.5 cents per business mile driven Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) matching, and paid time offKey Responsibilities
Conduct regular visits to accounts and manage daily routes with an efficient routing strategy. Assess the entire account base by visiting each location, identifying opportunities, and ensuring compliance with national account standards. Prepare and deliver engaging sales presentations that align the company's priorities with customer needs, including new product placements and promotional activities. Maintain appropriate product levels in accounts through inventory management and restocking efforts. Provide training to account staff on priority brands through educational seminars. Manage customer account receivables by processing credits and returns promptly and communicating effectively regarding aged receivables. Address customer issues and complaints, escalating them to management when necessary. Achieve sales and merchandising targets as outlined by management. Strategically plan to meet objectives by analyzing company pricing and product programming on a monthly basis. Collaborate with management to monitor inventory levels and anticipate demand fluctuations. Meet performance standards by achieving distribution, volume, and activity goals set by suppliers. Ensure brand visibility within accounts by adhering to management standards and utilizing effective point-of-sale materials. Collect payments from accounts where legally permissible. Assist in opening new accounts by developing initial orders in partnership with the Field Sales Manager. Participate in collaborative supplier initiatives, including sales calls and blitzes. Perform additional duties as assigned by your supervisor.Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience At least 2 years of sales experience Proficient in MS Office and other relevant software, including presentation tools Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service Ability to manage multiple tasks, work independently or as part of a team, and meet deadlines Analytical and reporting capabilities Sound judgment and problem-solving skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Must be at least 21 years of age Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation required Proof of auto insurance is necessaryPhysical Requirements
Regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers Must be able to reach overhead, squat, and bend Ability to lift and carry 45-65 poundsCompetencies
