Job Title: Medical Dosimetrist

Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center is seeking a highly skilled Medical Dosimetrist to join our Radiation Oncology team. As a Medical Dosimetrist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate and safe delivery of radiation therapy to our patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for patients undergoing radiation therapy
  • Collaborate with radiation oncologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and safe treatment delivery
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews to ensure compliance with radiation safety standards
  • Provide education and training to staff on radiation safety and treatment planning procedures
Requirements:
  • Graduate of a Medical Dosimetry program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT)
  • Certification as a Medical Dosimetrist (CMD) by the Medical Dosimetrist Certification Board (MDCB)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in radiation oncology
  • Strong knowledge of radiation safety principles and treatment planning software
