We are seeking a highly skilled Radiation Therapy Specialist to join our team at Providence Swedish First Hill. As a key member of our dosimetry team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing radiation treatment plans for patients undergoing radiation therapy.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with Radiation Oncologists and Medical Physicists to develop treatment plans
- Utilize treatment planning systems, record and verify systems, and linear accelerators to deliver precise radiation therapy
- Provide expertise on treatment planning systems, record and verify systems, and radiation sources used in brachytherapy
- Serve as a resource for Staff Medical Dosimetrists, Radiation Therapists, Simulation Therapists, Medical Physicists, and Radiation Oncologists
- Meet the education requirements of the Medical Dosimetry Certification Board (MDCB) for Certified Medical Dosimetrists (CMDs)
- Hold a current CMD in good standing
- Experience with CMS Xio, Philips Pinnacle, MOSAIQ, Tomotherapy, and HDR treatment planning is preferred
