Position Overview
This role focuses on the formulation, assessment, calculation, calibration, and execution of radiation treatment strategies for patients receiving radiation therapy as directed by the Radiation Oncologist and under the supervision of the Medical Physicist.
Key Responsibilities
The individual will be an integral part of the dosimetry team, demonstrating proficiency with treatment planning systems, record and verification systems, linear accelerators, simulators, CT scanners, HDR units, and the radioactive sources commonly utilized in brachytherapy.
This position acts as a valuable resource for Staff Medical Dosimetrists, Radiation Therapists, Simulation Therapists, Medical Physicists, and Radiation Oncologists.
Qualifications Required
Must fulfill the educational criteria set by the Medical Dosimetry Certification Board (MDCB) for Certified Medical Dosimetrists (CMDs).
Licensure Requirements
Upon hire, must possess a Washington Radiologic Technologist license (Vendor Managed) and a current National Certified Medical Dosimetrist credential from the Medical Dosimetrist Certification Board.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with CMS Xio, Philips Pinnacle, MOSAIQ, Tomotherapy, and HDR treatment planning systems is highly desirable.

Compensation Information
The salary range provided is the base pay; additional compensation may be available for this role, including shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonuses.
