Position Title: Senior Accountant

Role Overview:

We are in search of a meticulous and seasoned Senior Accountant to enhance our financial department. This role encompasses a wide range of accounting responsibilities, such as overseeing month-end closing procedures, reconciling bank statements, and managing the general ledger. You will collaborate on integration initiatives, oversee construction in progress and fixed asset capitalization tasks, and compute monthly commissions for sales representatives.

Moreover, you will execute specialized accounting functions for Canadian operations, produce and evaluate F9 reports, and assist with annual physical inventory processes. Key duties also include coordinating with the corporate tax team and providing support during annual and interim financial audits. You will play a crucial role in implementing and monitoring internal controls while engaging with both internal and external stakeholders to address financial inquiries and fulfill ad hoc reporting requests.

Qualifications:

Mandatory:

  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive accounting experience (including GL, reporting, costing, and public accounting)

Preferred:

  • Experience in public accounting
  • Background in manufacturing, assembly, or distribution
  • Familiarity with Infor XA system
  • CPA certification is advantageous
