About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Munitions Portfolio Communications Strategist to join our team at Booz Allen Hamilton. As a defense mission professional, you will play a critical role in creating solutions for missions that keep our nation safe.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze, assess, plan, and support the Joint Services Insensitive Munitions Technical Panel (JSIMTP) mission and facilitate Quarterly Meetings.
  • Help identify, analyze, and evaluate processes, and maintain the Department of Defense (DoD) Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for Insensitive Munitions Strategic Plans (IMSP) and Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&M) improvement.
  • Be a trusted advisor to our clients, identifying, analyzing, and evaluating complex systems, policies, and processes related to Insensitive Munitions.
  • Impact the work we do for the warfighter and the solutions we deliver for defense planning, national security, and the national defense strategy.
Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience with working for the DoD, Joint Staff, or a Service-level staff office developing executive-level briefings and deliverables.
  • Experience with conducting strategic communication activities involving Service PEOs, PMs, and industry.
  • Experience with evaluating and overseeing project execution of near-term, mid-term, and long-term assignments.
  • Experience with developing written products, information papers, and presentations.
  • Experience with collecting, analyzing, and presenting data for senior-level clients on technical, policy, or functional issues.
  • Knowledge of Munitions, Fuzes, and Fuzing Technology.
  • Secret clearance.
  • HS diploma or GED.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 6+ years of experience in working with or supporting the DoD.
  • Knowledge of DoD weapon systems.
  • TS/SCI clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree.
