  • Operate imaging equipment, such as X-ray machines and CT scanners, to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
  • Position patients correctly to ensure accurate and safe imaging procedures.
  • Develop and process radiographs to ensure optimal image quality.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient imaging procedures and results.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure high-quality patient care and safety.

Requirements:

  • Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) in the state of employment.
  • Experience with CT scanning and other imaging modalities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality patient care and safety.

Working Conditions:

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to lift and move patients as needed. The successful candidate will be required to work a 36-hour week, with night shifts from 7:30pm to 7am.
