About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Engineering Technician to join our team at Spanish Broadcasting System. As a key member of our technical operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our broadcast and transmission systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on broadcast equipment and transmission systems.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues affecting studio and transmission operations.
  • Assist in the installation and configuration of new equipment.
  • Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements.
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure seamless operations.
  • Adhere to safety regulations and industry standards.

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in Electronics, Broadcasting, or a related field.
  • Relevant experience in broadcast engineering or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of RF systems, audio/video equipment, and broadcasting technologies.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
  • Proficiency in both English and Spanish is preferred.
