Position Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with a team of Marketing Communications (Marcom) professionals to support various client sectors across the nation.
  • Lead the strategic planning and execution of tradeshows and events for Smart Infrastructure, in partnership with Marcom and business stakeholders.
  • Oversee a range of Marketing Communications initiatives, including the development of marketing materials, websites, and sales support resources.
  • Manage the annual calendar of tradeshows and events.
  • Refine and enhance processes related to tradeshows and events.
  • Formulate tradeshow strategies aligned with business goals and establish key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Independently plan and execute assigned tradeshows and events throughout the year.
  • Administer tradeshow budgets effectively.
  • Engage with external vendors and suppliers for tradeshow needs.
  • Utilize Salesforce to manage tradeshow leads.
  • Evaluate the success of tradeshows and events through surveys and lead analysis, recommending improvements as necessary.
  • Assess the effectiveness of marketing materials generated from tradeshows to measure return on investment (ROI).
  • Create diverse marketing collateral.
Travel Requirements
  • Travel is essential to support national shows, including setup and teardown of tradeshow booths and event management.
  • Frequency of travel may vary, potentially occurring once a month or more.
  • All travel expenses, including airfare, rental cars, accommodations, and meals, will be covered by the client.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in journalism, marketing, communications, or a related discipline.
  • Over 5 years of experience in managing all facets of tradeshows and events.
  • Exceptional project management capabilities.
  • Strong team collaboration skills.
  • Highly motivated individual.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Able to navigate a matrix organization effectively.
  • Proficient in both written and verbal communication.
