We are currently presenting an exciting opportunity:

CHILD NEUROLOGY SPECIALIST - Position Available

We are in search of a part-time (70% time) Board Certified/Board Eligible Child Neurologist to become a part of our dedicated team of Child Neurologists. While subspecialty expertise in areas such as Neuromuscular Disorders, Neuroimmunology, or Headache Management is valued, it is not a prerequisite for this general child neurology role. The responsibilities associated with this clinical position encompass consultations in both inpatient and outpatient pediatric environments, focusing on the diagnosis and treatment of children with diverse neurological conditions. Outpatient responsibilities will include video consultations, telephonic interactions, and in-person visits at our main hub and affiliated clinics.

Our inpatient facilities include a 26-bed Level 3 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, a 24-bed Pediatric Ward, and a 7-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, all supported by a team of Pediatric Hospitalists and Pediatric Critical Care Specialists available around the clock. You will become a member of our dynamic and collaborative Pediatric Subspecialty department, which includes experts in Cardiology, Child Abuse, Developmental Disorders, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Hematology & Oncology, Infectious Diseases, Nephrology, Neurology, Pulmonology, Rheumatology, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and Pediatric Surgical Specialties. Our team benefits from the support of case managers, registered dietitians, social workers, embedded child psychologists, and dedicated support staff.

In addition to local collaborations, we are integrated into a broader regional network of Pediatric Neurologists and Surgical Pediatric Epileptologists within Kaiser Permanente Northern California. The ideal candidate will possess a strong team-oriented mindset, extensive exposure to pediatric neurology, an excellent empathetic bedside manner, and a commitment to advancing Child Neurology care in a nurturing environment.
