Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as an Alternate Director of Clinical Services. This is a unique opportunity to lead our clinical services team and make a meaningful impact on the lives of our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage patient care services to ensure high-quality care and excellent patient outcomes.
  • Provide direct patient care and manage a patient caseload, including assessing health needs, developing care plans, and implementing interventions.
  • Supervise clinical personnel, including nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure they are providing high-quality care and adhering to organizational policies and procedures.
  • Oversee patient care services and personnel, including making patient and personnel assignments, coordinating care and referrals, and ensuring that care and services are delivered appropriately.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of in-service and continuing education programs for clinical personnel.
  • Participate in quality assessment and performance improvement activities to ensure that our services meet the highest standards of quality and excellence.
  • Perform other duties and activities as delegated by the Director of Hospice Services.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license to practice in the state of employment.
  • Graduate of a NLN-accredited school of nursing with a BSN degree and at least 3 years of full-time clinical experience in nursing.
  • Previous experience in hospice/home care setting and with at least 2 years of management or supervisory experience.
  • Proven ability to work within an interdisciplinary setting and to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Compliance with accepted professional standards and principles.
