We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at the University of Maryland Medical Center Baltimore Washington. Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care and coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Collaborate with colleagues to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives
- Contribute to the development of clinical practice guidelines and standards
- Associate Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
- Current Maryland RN licensure required
- At least 1 year of circulating RN experience required
- Professional Certification highly encouraged
- American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification required
- Must meet all unit-specific certification requirements
- Ability to learn and use computer systems to manage patient information
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to adapt to changing situations. The Registered Nurse will be required to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
