Position Summary:

Senior Manager of Regulatory Product Compliance
We are seeking a Senior Manager of Product Compliance to enhance our expanding Regulatory Product Compliance team in North America, contributing to our Global efforts. This position will primarily address Consumer Protection regulations and offers a unique opportunity to influence Wise's mission while advancing your career as a product compliance expert.

Your Responsibilities:

Key Objectives:
Wise has already set the standard for cross-border money transfers. Our clients can also manage their finances through the world's first authentic international multi-currency accounts. Your goal is to empower our North American product team to introduce new offerings and expand our footprint in the U.S. and Canada by thoroughly understanding regulatory obligations and expectations.

Key Contributions:
  • Collaborate on Product Development:
    Support Product Teams in creating risk-based products, processes, and controls.
  • Design Customer-Centric Solutions:
    Work together to develop practical product solutions that ensure full regulatory compliance.
  • Conduct Regulatory Analysis:
    Perform pre-launch and ongoing compliance assessments and risk evaluations.
  • Advise on Regulatory Matters:
    Provide insightful guidance to Product Managers regarding current and upcoming regulations, identifying gaps and risks.
Risk Management:
  • Identify Regulatory Risks:
    As part of the North American Regulatory Product Compliance Team, you will pinpoint and manage regulatory risks across all products offered to customers in the U.S. and Canada.
  • Oversee Control Framework:
    Design effective and innovative controls while assessing residual risk exposure, focusing on Consumer Protection.
  • Collaborate with Compliance Teams:
    Ensure that Wise Product Teams are consistently informed about the latest regulations and guidance.
  • Implement Management Information:
    Work with Product Teams and the broader Compliance Team to maintain management information that supports informed decision-making at both regional and global levels.
Audit and Issue Management:
  • Conduct Audits:
    Manage audit processes and, when necessary, challenge findings in collaboration with Compliance and Product teams.
  • Develop Issue Management Strategies:
    Create and implement effective strategies to mitigate regulatory risks.
  • Represent Wise:
    Act as a representative in discussions with Banking Partners and Central Banks, clearly articulating Wise's products and compliance framework.
