HHS Construction, a leader in wireless and engineering solutions, is seeking a skilled Construction Manager to oversee our fiber splicing operations. Our mission is to design and build essential broadband and wireless communication infrastructures that support various sectors, including healthcare, energy, and transportation.

Your Role:
As a Construction Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that all splicing operations meet both customer and industry standards. You will lead a team of fiber splicers, ensuring they have the necessary tools and equipment to execute their tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all operations to guarantee compliance with specifications.
  • Ensure availability of tools and equipment for technicians, while tracking production from engineered blueprints.
  • Address and resolve property owner complaints in designated areas.
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of fiber splicing professionals.
  • Manage the work of splicing teams and subcontractors.
  • Review field documentation for splicing and testing, identify issues, and ensure timely corrections.
  • Complete daily production reports, update maps, and maintain accurate records of work hours and project closeout documentation.
  • Verify accuracy of daily production reports for billing purposes.
  • Conduct quality control inspections of work performed by employees and subcontractors.
  • Enforce compliance with company policies and federal/state regulations.
  • Implement corrective actions as necessary to address performance issues.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Proven leadership in managing internal and subcontract resources in fiber splicing.
  • Demonstrated experience in the Telecom/CATV construction sector.
  • Ability to install necessary equipment such as enclosures and termination panels.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work in various weather conditions, including extreme temperatures and inclement weather.
  • Capability to lift and carry materials weighing between 40 to 90 pounds.
  • Maintain visual and audible contact with crew members and surrounding personnel.
  • Operate or work around heavy machinery safely.
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
  • Perform tasks that require stooping, kneeling, and crawling.
  • Willingness to wear personal protective equipment as required.
