Job Overview

A high-level position is available at Amdex Corporation for a skilled Contract Program Manager.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will lead a cross-functional team in supporting critical IT services, requiring expertise in IT services management, IT portfolio governance and compliance, and information security.

This role demands strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • IT Services Management:
  1. Lead a team of SharePoint, Power Platform, and .Net developers to ensure optimal performance of new and existing applications.
  2. Drive the modernization of IT processes, enhancing service delivery, and improving user experience by implementing MS Azure Boards and Repositories.
  3. Manage delivery timelines, deliverables, and resource capacity for IT services, collaborating with the client to establish streamlined intake and prioritization processes.
IT Portfolio Management/Governance:
  1. Oversee a team responsible for implementing CPIC (Capital Planning Investment Control), FITARA (Federal Information Technology Acquisition Reform Act), and EPLC (Enterprise Project Life Cycle).
  2. Ensure compliance with federal regulations and organizational policies related to IT investments.
IT Security/Infosec Support:
  1. Coordinate with the client's IT Security team to deliver DAST and SAST vulnerability management support.
  2. Collaborate as needed with contract resources to develop strategies for incident response planning and vulnerability management.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Program Manager or similar role within IT environments.
  • Knowledge of IT Portfolio governance frameworks (CPIC/FITARA/EPLC) and information security principles.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex situations quickly.
  • Exceptional communication skills—both verbal and written—with the ability to present ideas clearly at all levels of the organization.
  • Relevant certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or PgMP (Program Management Professional) are highly desirable.
