Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Talnt. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment and machinery.

Responsibilities
  • Perform Routine Maintenance: Conduct regular maintenance and repair tasks on manufacturing equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance.
  • Diagnose and Troubleshoot: Identify and resolve issues with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to minimize downtime and ensure timely completion of maintenance activities.
  • Conduct Preventive Maintenance Inspections: Regularly inspect equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with Production Staff: Work closely with production staff to minimize downtime and ensure timely completion of maintenance activities.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and equipment logs.
  • Adhere to Safety Protocols: Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols and company standards.
  • Assist with Equipment Installation: Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment and machinery.
  • Manage Inventory: Order and manage inventory of maintenance supplies and spare parts.
  • Provide Emergency Repairs: Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production.
Qualifications
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training in maintenance or a related field preferred.
  • Experience: Proven experience as a maintenance technician, particularly in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems; proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment; ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Personal Qualities: Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail; good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment; physical stamina and dexterity for handling heavy equipment and working in confined spaces.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Education: Associate degree in industrial maintenance, engineering technology, or a related field.
  • Skills: Certification in relevant areas such as HVAC, electrical, or plumbing; familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS); experience with PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) programming and troubleshooting.
  • Personal Qualities: Demonstrated ability to lead or supervise junior maintenance staff; strong project management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
