We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinician to join our team at Christ-Centered Ministries. As a Clinician, you will play a critical role in providing mental health services to clients who are experiencing significant mental health challenges.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct psychotherapy to clients and establish individualized intervention/treatment plans to promote identified goals.
- Complete biopsychosocial assessments to identify and address client needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation of service objectives and outcomes in accordance with federal, state, and local requirements.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary staff to ensure clients' healthcare needs are met.
- Participate in regular team meetings, case conferences, and staff trainings.
- Master's Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, or Psychology.
- Proof of current licensure or registration in the State of California as an Associate Clinical Social Worker, Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, or Associate Professional Clinical Counselor.
- Experience working with individuals experiencing homelessness, mental illness, and substance use disorder is a plus.
- Knowledge of crisis intervention, Part-R, CPR, and First Aid.
- Ability to work within a dynamic environment serving the homeless community.
This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously. The Clinician must be able to maintain effective and organized systems to ensure timely client flow. The position also requires the ability to handle confidential information and maintain client confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA standards.
Physical RequirementsThe Clinician must be able to participate in moderate lifting of at least 30 lbs. and be able to support client weight in case of emergency situations or client disability requiring assistance in walking, etc.
