Job Summary

Join Apple and contribute to the development of innovative silicon technologies used in Apple products. As a Productization Engineering Program Manager, you will be responsible for working with the Product Engineering/Test/DFT teams to ensure successful launch of new products and mass production support of high volume SoCs powering Apple's world-class product lines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interface and drive closure of critical silicon issues with multifunctional teams to enable successful SoC mass production ramp.
  • Enable tight collaboration between DFT, Product Engineering/Test/Quality, Silicon Validation, Material Management and Systems teams during NPI to finalize SoC performance targets and screen requirements.
  • Drive simple and effective processes from past lessons learned to avoid quality and execution issues early in development cycle.
  • Disciplined issue tracking, organizing and reporting of program risks, status, and options for resolution to executive management.
  • Rapidly synthesize and communicate findings to senior leaders and proactively identify and resolve potential supply issues that can affect product strategy.
Requirements
  • B.S. in an Engineering field.
  • Experience in SOC/ Chip Design/Validation, DFT, Test or Product Engineering.
  • Experience working with SoCs in areas such as NPI or a high volume environment.

  • Excellent communication & presentation skills.
  • Driven and highly motivated.
  • Must demonstrate ability to drive resolution of critical problems under pressure.
  • Ability to understand and extract action plans from complex technical discussions and translate into succinct messaging for multi-functional and executive status reporting.
  • Ability to connect the dots and identify gaps in process, planning and propose mitigations.
  • Experience working in a dynamic multi-disciplined engineering environment, strong at multi-tasking, and real-time crisis management.
  • Strong desire to own/drive project development using well defined metrics.
  • Comfortable with fast paced schedule driven development.
  • Experience working with foundries/OSATs/external vendors.
  • Ability to function and progress actions in ambiguous situations.
  • Technical Program Management/ Engineering Management experience.
