We are seeking a skilled Patient Care Associate II to join our team at Mass General Brigham. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to patients, families, and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care and support, including vital sign monitoring, assistance with activities of daily living, and phlebotomy procedures.
- Float between Pediatrics, SCN, and Post-Partum units, ensuring seamless patient care and unit operations.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe patient care and smooth unit operations.
- Perform clerical duties related to admission, discharge, and transfer of patients.
- Act as a liaison between the unit and other departments, ensuring effective communication and coordination.
- CPR training required.
- Phlebotomy training and experience preferred.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Six months of experience as a Nursing Assistant, or is a Nursing student currently enrolled in a formal program who has successfully completed at least one clinical rotation, or is currently enrolled in and successfully completes the NWH Patient Care Assistant Training Program.
