Job Title: Nursing Director for Patient Care Unit
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursing Director to lead our patient care unit at Mass General Brigham. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative leadership and clinical expertise to ensure comprehensive care and treatment is rendered to our patient/resident population.
Key Responsibilities:
- 24-hour accountability for the nursing care delivered on a patient care unit.
- Nursing operations are coordinated daily to achieve patient-centered service, quality, and cost objectives.
- Nursing staffing is actively managed to ensure safe staffing levels and budgetary constraints are met.
- Nursing services are delivered in accordance with professional standards of practice, the strategic plan for nursing, and applicable organizational policies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required.
- Minimum of four years of diverse and well-rounded clinical experience required.
- Current license from Massachusetts Board of Registration as Registered Nurse.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Nursing highly preferred.
- Experience relevant to the clinical specialties of the unit preferred.
- National certification in a nursing specialty preferred.
