Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Operations to lead our dining services departments within a campus environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead multiple operations to ensure seamless execution and high-quality service.
  • Develop, recommend, and implement policies and procedures to drive business growth and excellence.
  • Support the development and implementation of clinical and resident service programs that meet client and regulatory standards.
  • Participate in the sales process for the acquisition of new business and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
  • Monitor financial reports to ensure budgetary compliance and make informed decisions to drive business growth.
  • Develop and motivate an effective management and clinical staff to achieve exceptional results.
  • Conduct regular unit inspections to ensure contract compliance and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Resolve client, resident, and associate-related complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Complete all daily, weekly, and monthly reports as outlined in the corporate policy.
  • Project a high level of customer service at all times and embody the company's values and mission.
  • Train, motivate, and develop management personnel to achieve exceptional results.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent related experience.
  • Proven ability to manage a team of six or more team members.
  • Minimum of two years' experience in multi-unit food service management.
  • Strong track record of driving customer satisfaction and business growth.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in an unstructured, fast-paced, and P&L-driven environment.
  • Proven ability to mentor and develop team members.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees.
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Ability to prepare reports and business correspondence.
  • Ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels.
  • Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions.
  • Creative, flexible, and innovative team player.
