Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary project leader for the US Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM), overseeing specialized engineering and strategic planning for military unit stationing projects. Deliver presentations and reports to senior INSCOM officials and key overseas commanders as necessary. Collaborate with the INSCOM G4 engineering team to align basing requirements with the training and operational needs of US Army Military Intelligence.
  • Utilize technical and military expertise, gained through military service, to create comprehensive stationing program management plans using project management software.
  • Engage with military command planning teams to develop thorough plans that ensure all interests and responsibilities are acknowledged in master plans for relocation and realignment initiatives. Conduct critical engineering evaluations of Military Construction (MILCON) Project Data submissions and physical security requirements.
  • Participate in high-level planning discussions between HQ INSCOM G4 and various US Army Major Command Program Management offices, as well as NATO and allied military partners.
  • Prepare, review, and present essential documentation for unit stationing actions required by the Department of Defense, Army, and Environmental Protection Agency for military construction and facility renovation projects.
  • Stay informed about the latest HQDA engineering and force structure management policies to provide operational and technical recommendations as needed.
  • Be ready for immediate deployment to various global locations, including potentially hazardous environments, to deliver technical support to US forces.
  • Ensure all duties are performed with a focus on providing timely, courteous, and high-quality support to INSCOM and other stakeholders.
Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree in project management or a related field from an accredited institution, along with 10 years of relevant military or civilian experience in project management, military planning, and operations.
  • Physical capability to navigate confined spaces and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to leverage historical military knowledge to ensure that military plans for INSCOM unit and base realignments effectively support the integration of intelligence and security systems.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing operational military units or equivalent civilian roles is essential. Familiarity with Army intelligence doctrine and experience in joint operations across various military branches is preferred.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including proficiency in technical military writing styles.
  • Must be a US Citizen with a Final Top-Secret Clearance based on a TIER 5 Background Investigation, and a favorable determination for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) in accordance with ICD 704.
