Position Overview:

In this role, you will conduct diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures under the guidance of the Medical Director and Department Manager, with oversight from the Chief Technologist.


Job Description:

EDUCATION:
Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma. Completion of a nuclear medicine technology program from an accredited institution is essential.

CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE:
NMT-Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist is required.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AS TYPICALLY ACQUIRED IN:
Experience in a hospital or clinical nuclear medicine setting is preferred. New graduates are welcome to apply. Familiarity with ADAC systems is highly desirable.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
Proficiency in using clinical computers. Ability to assist in moving, lifting, and positioning patients. Competence in handling gurneys, wheelchairs, collimators, and nuclear equipment.

The pay range for this position is $58.70 to $79.25 per hour. This range may vary based on location and is influenced by factors such as experience, education, skills, licensure, and organizational needs. Base pay is one component of the comprehensive rewards program offered by Sutter Health, which includes a robust benefits package.
