Location: Alachua County Jail
Schedule: 36 hours per week; rotating shifts of 12 hours

- Under RN supervision, evaluate patients' physical, psychological, and social aspects in both healthcare and residential settings, contributing to personalized treatment plans and collaborating with RNs and staff as necessary.
- Execute treatment protocols as directed by healthcare practitioners, administer medications (including IV therapy if certified), and conduct diagnostic tests in accordance with established guidelines.
- Participate in controlled substance inventory at the start of each shift, adhering to safety protocols and responding to health emergencies within established standards.
- Assist in medical or minor surgical procedures, implement nutritional and therapeutic diet plans, and accurately document nursing interactions using SOAP charting to ensure effective communication with nursing staff, physicians, and other relevant personnel.
- Attend mandatory staff meetings and training sessions, demonstrating a commitment to ongoing professional development and compliance with policies and procedures to deliver high-quality patient care.
