Overview

MSA Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineering Technician to join our team in Rice Lake, WI. As a key member of our engineering team, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from construction and streets to drainage and storm sewers, wastewater and water utilities, and site and grading improvements.

Responsibilities
  • Utilize AutoCAD C3D CAD software to perform detailed drafting and design of civil and municipal projects, including plan preparation.
  • Work collaboratively with a team to develop and QA Civil Engineering Plan Sets.
  • Work primarily in an office setting, with a CAD workstation, and have the ability to work in the field on an as-needed basis.
  • Prioritize workflow and maintain project schedules.
  • Perform miscellaneous office and technology tasks as necessary.
  • Manage individual and team libraries of CAD design details.
  • Stay current on the latest CAD technology and trends.
Qualifications
  • Associate's degree in Civil Engineering Technology or a related field is preferred.
  • Prior CAD drafting experience is preferred.
  • Ability to work in the field is required.
  • Prior experience with CAD Surface Modeling is preferred.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D is preferred.
  • Ability to work in a consulting environment on a team setting.
