Computer and Information Systems Manager – Advanced

Chenega Agile Real-Time Solutions (CARS) is seeking a highly skilled Computer and Information Systems Manager – Advanced to join our team in the Patuxent River area. This role will support a Department of Defense (DoD) client.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply analytical techniques to evaluate program/project IT systems objectives.
  • Analyze requirements, status, budget, personnel resources, and schedules.
  • Track program/project status and schedules.
  • Plan, direct, and/or coordinate IT systems support activities, projects, and programs.
Requirements:
  • Graduate degree and 7+ years of relevant experience OR
  • High school diploma or GED and CNSSI 4011-Information Systems Security (INFOSEC) Professionals/4012-Senior Systems Managers/4013-System Administrators/4014-Information Systems Security Officers (ISSO) /4015-Systems Certifiers/4016-Risk Analysts NDU CISO certificate-Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and 7+ years of relevant experience OR
  • High school diploma or GED and active CSWF Code 801, 802, 803, 804, 805 certifications or Project Management Professional (PMP) and CISM and CISSP and GSLC and ITIL Master and PgMP and 7+ years of relevant experience
  • Active Secret clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ability to obtain Top Secret clearance
  • Ability to work independently and yet be effective within a team setting.
  • Must be capable of managing multiple efforts with time-related constraints in a fast-paced contracting environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse internal and external stakeholder groups and individuals.
  • Friendly presence, helpful attitude, good interpersonal skills, and ability to work well with others.
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Office applications.
  • Experience working in a home office setting as well as the ability to train end users on frequently asked technical issues.
  • Ability to provide technical assistance and support over the phone with good phone skills and a professional demeanor.
  • Previous customer service experience strongly desired.
  • Good problem-solving skills with the ability to visualize a problem or situation and think abstractly to solve it.
