Position Overview:
This role serves as the principal systems analyst for the Test Resource Management System (TRMS) software, which is essential for managing event planning and scheduling across various Department of Defense (DoD) Test & Evaluation ranges and laboratories. The successful candidate will be pivotal in maximizing the utility and quality of ongoing product enhancement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engaging directly with all stakeholders to outline existing business processes and pinpoint areas for improvement through automation.
  • Leading collaborative efforts with users and technical teams to devise cost-effective solutions for priority challenges.
  • Promoting and advocating for proposed solutions throughout the organization to secure stakeholder buy-in.
  • Consolidating feedback from all parties to formulate, manage, and communicate strategies for product enhancements, including feature prioritization and release timelines.
  • Coordinating activities across customer sites to foster common practices and optimize business operations.
  • Consulting with management to align organizational objectives and key performance indicators with ongoing product improvements.
  • Directing initiatives to provide tailored training solutions for end-users, including managing business rule modifications and the deployment of new functionalities.
  • Collaborating with the development team to ensure the consistent quality of developed solutions, including formal testing of software release candidates.
  • Monitoring real-time customer experiences and system performance metrics.
Qualifications:
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent GED is mandatory.
  • Completion of technical or trade school, or at least 30 semester hours (45 quarter hours) in computer programming, operations, or systems management from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience in a team development environment is required. Alternatively, a total of 10 years of applicable work experience may substitute for post-high school education/training.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Familiarity with established technical project life cycle methodologies and best practices, such as Agile and/or SEI/CMM.
  • Extensive experience in solutions implementation within a large, dynamic, multi-facility context.
  • Knowledge of the DoD Test and Evaluation environment is preferred.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
  • All candidates must pass a drug screening.
  • Willingness to work occasional nights and weekends, along with some travel.
Work Environment:
  • Most tasks will be performed indoors, involving sitting, standing, walking, lifting, and reaching.
  • Candidates should be capable of lifting weights with assistance from colleagues.
  • Vision capabilities necessary for this role include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Clearance Requirements:
