Job Summary

The HR Compliance Manager will oversee all aspects of HR compliance-related topics, ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local regulations, as well as internal company standards. This role will report to the Director, Benefits & HR Compliance and play a pivotal part in leading and managing company and employee compliance programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage all HR compliance-related initiatives to ensure effective implementation and monitoring of compliance processes.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive processes to measure the effectiveness of plans and programs, aligning with design strategies and outcome expectations.
  • Manage the HR compliance consultant, ensuring high-quality work and providing monthly summaries of missing and incorrect I-9s to ensure internal and regulatory compliance.
  • Serve as the escalation point of contact for applicable I-9 processes, assist in identifying risks, and escalate cases to internal and external key stakeholders.
  • Manage plan compliance audits, testing, and filings, ensuring adherence to federal and local requirements as a government contractor.
  • Develop and lead the HR compliance strategy for BlueTriton Brands to comply with federal and local requirements.
  • Support OFCCP compliance activities, including OFCCP audits, Affirmative Action Plans process execution, compensation analyses, EEO-1 reports, and VETS reporting.
  • Provide guidance and training to HR leaders and representatives on the execution of HR compliance processes.
  • Consult with the legal department and advise leadership and management on compliance matters.
  • Serve as a point of contact during internal/external audits or government inspections.
  • Stay abreast of industry best practices and recommend process improvements.
  • Provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly data reporting utilizing the current data management system.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • 7+ years of HR compliance experience.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and day-to-day operations concurrently.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects/requests simultaneously.
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to proactively drive change and process improvements.
