Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Development Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for fostering client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Initiate contact with key individuals within target end-user organizations to define their needs, provide technical solutions, and develop project scope and timing.
- Manage key accounts to ensure achievement of sales objectives.
- Develop and implement a strategy for sales prospecting in the territory to create a pipeline of prospective customers for lead generation of new accounts.
- Develop a territory action plan that includes strategic and tactical actions needed to exceed assigned targets.
- Drive CRM (SalesForce) utilization for account management, pipeline management, and all sales reporting features.
- Support customers with test engineering needs, demonstrating, selling test fixtures and automated test systems (custom hardware and software solutions).
- Develop knowledge of competitive products, identify emerging markets, create strategy for competing, and keep Marketing and management abreast of all competitive activity and market development in the territory.
- Keep current on all CCI products from a technical, applications, pricing, and selling benefits standpoint.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering with a preference for Electrical or Mechanical.
- Prior experience in sales of mid-range electronic hardware and capital equipment a plus.
- Knowledge of products or processes requiring the use of electrical test equipment.
- Proficiency with CRM software and Account Management systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an aptitude for building strong client relationships.
