Key Responsibilities:Marketing
  • Develop and execute marketing plans to promote properties and drive business growth.
  • Manage advertising, branding, event planning, social media, public relations, and crisis communications initiatives.
  • Implement advertising programs through market analysis, demographic and psychographic surveys, media research, and program evaluation.
  • Manage budget to approved Marketing Fund and oversee communications tools to keep retail merchants informed.
  • Assist retail merchants in enhancing sales by analyzing sales reports and recommending strategies.
  • Create and oversee tactical marketing, public relations, and promotional plans for new store openings.
  • Manage signage program and digital directories throughout the region.
  • Develop and update content, architecture, graphics, and increase online visibility for property websites and social media channels.
  • Manage content, design, production, and distribution of office customer communications.
Events, Communications & Public Relations
  • Manage event ideation and execution of external events at properties, including oversight of event calendar, contracts, user agreements, certificates of insurance, and production schedules.
  • Enhance and protect BXP's brand and image by approving all use of photographic images, logos, and write-ups by contractors, vendors, and tenants.
  • Direct and manage the work of outside event producers, vendors, and consultants, including public relations and advertising agencies.
  • Develop and execute communications plans for merchants, customers, and visitors regarding ongoing construction and development projects.
Community Relations:
  • Represent BXP in the outside community through active participation in civic, educational, and charitable organizations.
  • Implement marketing programs to position BXP and our properties as a positive component in the surrounding market.
General:
  • Oversee Marketing staff, as assigned.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with members of the local media and other BXP teams.
  • Maintain on-going relationships with Marketing Managers of other BXP venues and share marketing expertise and best practices.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • BA/BS degree required with a concentration in Marketing, Communications, or Event Planning.
  • A minimum of 4 to 7 years of progressively responsible marketing or marketing communications experience.
  • Direct supervisory experience required; 2 to 4 years preferred.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and familiarity with basic marketing research techniques.
  • Knowledge of print production, advertising production, media buying, and marketing incentives.
  • Proven initiative, project management skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
Physical Requirements:
  • Involves work of a general office nature usually performed sitting.

  • Involves movement between departments and properties to facilitate work and events.
Internal and External Contacts:
  • Regularly interfaces with tenant contacts, leasing, construction, development, and financial teams, as well as external vendors, consultants, and the general public.
Reporting Structure:

This position reports to the Marketing Director, who provides supervision, guidance, and evaluates work performance on a periodic basis.

Salary Range:

$100,230 - $153,300. BXP offers a competitive total rewards package, including base salary and annual discretionary bonus.
