Responsibilities
- Provide supervision and support to clients, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Assist clients in working with groups and handling individual problems.
- Set limits for behavior and create documentation of client progress.
- Identify potential needs for professional services and communicate findings to staff.
Essential Duties:
- Be aware of the location and activities of assigned residents at all times.
- Facilitate daily residential schedules, including participating in and supporting residents in activities such as chores, meal service, and groups.
- Provide transportation to residents for community outings and meetings in a safe and legal manner.
- Practice compliance with all policies, record-keeping requirements, and assigned duties.
- Remain current and up-to-date on all required trainings and certifications.
Qualifications
A degree or GED is required; a bachelor's degree in psychology, counseling, or sociology is preferred. Prior experience in behavioral health treatment settings with adolescents is a plus. A valid driver's license and eligibility for insurance coverage are also required.
