Essential Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years in a bookkeeping or accounting capacity
  • At least 1 year of experience in Accounts Receivable
  • 1+ year of experience in Asset Record Management
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Prior experience with SAP software
  • Strong ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent computer and interpersonal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and self-driven individual with robust organizational capabilities
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business

Key Duties:

  • Performing Accounts Receivable tasks including collection efforts, updating account/payment statuses, and preparing invoices, statements, and credit memos while addressing customer billing discrepancies
  • Handling accounts payable invoicing, payments, and vendor relationships
  • Managing inventory receipts and transfers, along with inventory reconciliation
  • Maintaining the general ledger through transaction postings, journal entries, and account reconciliations
  • Reconciling bank and credit card statements
  • Ensuring accurate preparation and timely submission of State & Local B&O/Excise/Use Tax filings
  • Collaborating with management to prepare materials for internal and external audits
  • Generating monthly and annual year-end reporting forms, including 1099s
  • Working alongside cross-functional teams to devise and implement effective strategies for prompt issue resolution
  • Keeping records of asset purchases, disposals, depreciation, and reporting
  • Engaging in special projects as assigned
