Job Description

The Director of Operations is a key leadership role at Topgolf, responsible for delivering exceptional service and driving business results in our venues. As a member of our leadership team, you will set the tone for our service culture and work closely with our teams to ensure our Guests have an unforgettable experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of venue leaders to deliver best-in-class service
  • Coach and mentor direct reports to achieve business objectives and develop their skills
  • Drive Associate engagement and retention through effective communication and recognition
  • Uphold operating standards and ensure Guest and team safety and satisfaction
  • Hold leaders accountable for managing venue operations and achieving business results
  • Forecast and control sales and expenses to maximize financial performance
  • Delegate and follow-up on tasks to ensure timely completion

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of restaurant, hotel, or golf course management experience with at least 5 recent years as General Manager
  • Multi-unit management experience is a plus
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent communication, time management, and organization skills
  • Ability to work on a team and build strong relationships
  • Energy and enthusiasm for delivering exceptional service
  • A high level of self-awareness, receptivity to change, and integrity
  • Ability to work in extreme weather conditions for extended periods
  • Availability to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods, including maneuvering up and down stairs
  • Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 lb.
