The Senior Regional Operations Manager is a pivotal role within Supply Services, offering a unique opportunity to gain experience with contemporary inventory and receiving software systems while serving as a second-level manager for Supply Services.

This position entails overseeing the daily operations and activities of Supply Services at various locations.

Key Responsibilities:

This role involves monitoring Supply Services to ensure compliance with statutory and procedural requirements. Responsibilities include:

  • Evaluating warehouse operations for efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Overseeing stock purchases to identify and recommend opportunities for blanket orders.
  • Leading teams in recognizing products suitable for system-wide standardization.
  • Adjusting workload among statewide facilities to meet customer needs promptly.
  • Building consensus among facilities to reduce operational costs while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Mentoring warehouse staff and providing guidance, support, and technical assistance statewide.
  • Ensuring staff training aligns with state requirements.

Additionally, this position requires extensive travel for site evaluations, operational oversight, and meetings with facility leadership.

Reporting to the Assistant Director of Supply Services, this role allows for considerable autonomy and the use of independent judgment.

Compensation Package:
Annual Starting Salary: $58,000
Employer Paid Health Benefits: $7,200
Vacation Leave Accrued Annually: $2,041
Sick Leave Accrued Annually: $2,041
Total Annual Starting Salary and Benefits: $71,282

Essential Functions:

Regular attendance is required in accordance with agency leave policies, along with performing other assigned duties.

Manage activities, mentor, and provide direction to Regional Managers and warehouse supervisors, including oversight of evaluations, hiring, and time/leave management using the CAPPS system.

Conduct site evaluations to ensure compliance with Supply Services Operating Instructions.

Oversee Regional Manager actions to guarantee efficient and effective services to assigned warehouse locations.

Establish goals and objectives, develop schedules, and monitor progress for the Supply Services Department.

Provide consultation and technical guidance in Performance and Conduct Management, FMLA, and Workers Compensation monitoring.

Research and investigate unusual incidents as necessary.

Develop and update guidelines, procedures, and regulations while monitoring staff compliance with policies related to Supply Services.

Provide technical assistance for the MIMS inventory control system, ensuring it is maintained and supported by Regional Managers and Warehouse Supervisors.

Plan and coordinate special projects, ensuring necessary resources are available for successful completion.
