Position SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Technician to join our team. As a Senior Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex automotive systems, including drivability and electrical systems. You will also be expected to provide leadership and mentoring to junior technicians, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide exceptional customer service.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, with a minimum of 3 years of experience and a valid driver's license. A.S.E. certification in at least 3 areas is also required. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for professional development and career advancement.
Responsibilities- Diagnose and repair complex automotive systems, including drivability and electrical systems.
- Provide leadership and mentoring to junior technicians, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide exceptional customer service.
- Stay current with rapidly changing automotive technology through continuous paid formal training.
- Assist fellow technicians in performing technical activities.
- Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
- Must have a minimum 3 years of automotive repair experience, completion of Vocational-Technical School program in a related field or demonstrated skills via third party certificates/assessment.
- A.S.E. certification in at least 3 (three) of A1-A8 is required.
- Maintains Federal, State and Local certification/license where applicable.
- Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.
- Reading, writing, and math skills.
